Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)
Everything you need to know about HYDRATE!™ by Hydration Labs — electrolytes, ingredients, how to use it, and who it's for. For shipping, returns, and contact questions, see the last section below.
What are electrolytes and why are they important?
Electrolytes are minerals — sodium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium — that carry an electric charge and help your body regulate fluid balance, muscle contractions, and nerve signals. When you sweat, travel, or simply don't drink enough water, you lose electrolytes along with fluid, which is often behind fatigue, headaches, muscle cramps, and brain fog. Plain water replaces fluid but not the minerals themselves, which is why many people pair it with an electrolyte powder like HYDRATE! for more complete hydration.
What is HYDRATE! by Hydration Labs?
HYDRATE! by Hydration Labs is a sugar-free, caffeine-free electrolyte powder designed for daily hydration. Each scoop delivers four key electrolytes (sodium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium) plus a full B-vitamin complex, built on what we call the H3™ Hydration System: an advanced electrolyte blend, a B-vitamin complex, and optimized absorption. It comes in four flavors — Lychee, Lemonade, Peach Mango, and Passion Fruit — with 30 servings per container.
Is HYDRATE! sugar-free?
Yes. HYDRATE! contains 0g of sugar per serving and only 10 calories, sweetened with sucralose instead of sugar. Each serving has 2g of total carbohydrates, which also makes it keto-friendly. Unlike many electrolyte and sports drink powders that add 4–8g of sugar per serving, HYDRATE! is formulated to deliver hydration and B-vitamin support without the sugar or the crash that can follow it. Always check the Supplement Facts panel on your product page for full nutrition details.
Does HYDRATE! contain caffeine?
No. HYDRATE! is completely caffeine-free — it contains 0mg of caffeine in every serving. Instead of relying on stimulants for energy, it uses a full B-vitamin complex (seven B-vitamins, each at 33% of your Daily Value) to support your body's natural energy production. That makes it a good option if you're avoiding energy drinks or don't want an afternoon or evening electrolyte drink to affect your sleep.
How often should I drink electrolytes?
There's no single answer for everyone, since electrolyte needs depend on activity level, climate, and how much you sweat. As a general guide, many people benefit from electrolytes once a day, and more often during workouts, hot weather, travel, or illness. HYDRATE! is formulated as a daily electrolyte powder, so one scoop with 16–24oz of water is a reasonable everyday starting point — adjust based on your own activity and how you feel, and talk to a healthcare provider if you have specific health conditions.
Can I drink HYDRATE! every day?
Yes, HYDRATE! is formulated as a daily electrolyte powder — it's sugar-free, caffeine-free, and only 10 calories per serving, so it's designed to fit into an everyday routine rather than just workout days. Many customers use one scoop each morning or afternoon for consistent hydration support. As with any supplement, if you have kidney issues, are on a sodium- or potassium-restricted diet, or are pregnant or nursing, check with your doctor before daily use.
Is HYDRATE! good for workouts?
Yes. HYDRATE! is formulated with sodium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium — the electrolytes your body loses through sweat during exercise — plus a B-vitamin complex to support energy production. It's sugar-free and caffeine-free, so it won't add unnecessary calories or a stimulant crash to your workout routine. Mix a scoop before, during, or after training with 16–24oz of cold water to help replace what you sweat out.
Is HYDRATE! good for afternoon fatigue and brain fog?
HYDRATE! is designed to address one common contributor to afternoon fatigue and brain fog: under-hydration. When fluid and electrolyte levels drop, concentration and energy often drop with them. HYDRATE! pairs four key electrolytes with a full B-vitamin complex (seven B-vitamins, 33% DV each) that supports natural energy production, without caffeine or added sugar. It's not a stimulant and isn't intended to treat medical causes of fatigue, but it can be a useful part of an afternoon hydration routine.
What makes HYDRATE! different from sports drinks?
Most sports drinks rely heavily on sodium and added sugar — often 4–8g or more per serving — with few or no B-vitamins. HYDRATE! is sugar-free (0g sugar, 10 kcal per serving), caffeine-free, and adds a full B-vitamin complex most hydration brands leave out entirely. Its four electrolytes come from citrate-based sources, which are generally gentler on the stomach than some other forms. The result is a cleaner-label option built for everyday use, not just game day.
Which HYDRATE! flavor should I choose?
All four flavors — Lychee, Lemonade, Peach Mango, and Passion Fruit — share the same electrolyte and B-vitamin formula, so the choice comes down to taste. Lemonade and Passion Fruit tend to appeal to people who like a bright, tart, citrus-forward drink, while Peach Mango and Lychee are sweeter and more floral or fruit-forward. If you're unsure, Lemonade is our most classic, familiar flavor and a good starting point.
Is HYDRATE! keto-friendly?
Yes. Each serving of HYDRATE! has just 2g of total carbohydrates and 0g of sugar, which fits within most keto and low-carb guidelines. It's sweetened with sucralose rather than sugar, so it won't affect ketosis the way sugary sports drinks can. As always, check the full Supplement Facts panel and confirm with your own dietary plan, since individual carb tolerances vary.
Can children use HYDRATE!?
HYDRATE! is formulated and labeled for adults, and Hydration Labs does not currently market it as a children's product. If you're considering electrolyte supplementation for a child, we recommend speaking with your pediatrician first, since appropriate electrolyte and vitamin intake can vary significantly by age, weight, and health status. This is general information, not medical advice.
How much water should I mix with one serving?
Mix one scoop (5.4g) of HYDRATE! with 16–24oz of cold water, then shake or stir until dissolved. Using less water produces a stronger, more concentrated flavor, while using closer to 24oz makes it lighter and more diluted — adjust within that range to match your taste preference.
Does HYDRATE! contain artificial sweeteners or artificial colors?
HYDRATE! contains sucralose, an artificial sweetener, in place of sugar, along with a blend of natural and artificial flavors. Its color, however, comes from a natural source — beet juice powder or beta carotene, depending on the flavor — not an artificial dye. So while HYDRATE! is free of artificial colors, it is not free of artificial sweeteners or flavoring; check the Supplement Facts and ingredient list on each product page for full detail.
